AI & Robotics

May 26th, 2018

Dear Fellow PowerWomen,

Thank you for attending the breakfast session this morning at Unilever. It was insightful, thought-provoking, practical and futuristic at the same time. Thank you Jane for hosting us, for organising Michael Wignall as speaker and for an amazing breakfast and great views of London.

Michael was excellent both on the technical content and the use cases and a fun speaker.  We loved listening to Phoebe describe how she and the team are helping the business with solving real problems using AI/Robotics in 8 weeks and under 20k ! And how wonderful to see this young team be so impactful in such a short period of time. We must find a way to emulate this….

I had great feedback afterwards – and came away with a number of interesting takeaways. Jane I think you captured it best with the focus on change management and learning…this is the biggest challenge going forward (good news it’s always been the biggest lever in any transformation and disruption, bad news it’s hard).

All, below is Michael’s presentation – please do not distribute it outside this group. Jane thank you for sharing this with us and good luck with Satya Nadella! If you need a notes carrier I am happy to come along :-))

All, we look forward to your feedback and areas we can improve – what you liked, what you want more of, what you want less of – please send me an email or call.

I was thrilled to see the number of PWN connections being made….this is what the network is about – so find each other and start sharing ideas and leveraging the experience in this group

See you at the next event – May 22nd 6 pm at Korn Ferry on Strategy + Culture.

Thank you,

Tanuja Randery
